YOUTH IN ACTION” PROGRAMME Action 1.1 – YOUTH FOR EUROPE – YOUTH EXCHANGE “De Kyoto 1997 … au relai d’Isaby 2009” 03-11.08.2009 Relay for Isaby – Pyrenees – France Partner: FRANCE, ITALY, SWEDEN, GERMANY.

Living in Europe means to move in other countries, to meet other young people and to share the European culture. Becoming an European active citizen means to undrestand and to inquire about the everyday life in Europe, through discussions and the debates. It is important to look somewhere else and to see how people live their lives in another country without any judgements. By sharing these educational values some groups of young people (Italian, German, French and Swedish) suggest to lead a project of multilateral exchange based on “Environment”, which will creae the European citizens of tomorrow. The project of “Kyoto in 1997 in the relais of Isaby in 2009 ” is above all an educational project that want to improve the intercultural dialogue and the mutual understanding. Exchanges, debates, meetings, visits, intercultural games, activities of height nature, mode of collective life, these are the activities which are going to allow the young people to confront ideas, opinions and to develop values of solidarity, tolerance, respect. The exchange will take place in August 2009 in Villelongue in the Hautes-Pyrénées and it is composed by  25 young people with 5 guides who are going to share the same everyday life.
