Role and tasks of the volunteers:

The volunteers can participate in the committee in the village to organise the activities in the village.
This would a great way to integrate in the village.
Behind the farm Stifting Wurkgroep Buitengebied develop in cooperation with SBB, (Staats Bosbeheer), a national park where deer’s will live.
The volunteers can help to develop this project.
The volunteers will also help to feed and to take care of the animals in the farm.
Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon demented elderly people will come to the farm, to feed the animals and to be outside.
Every Friday afternoon till Sunday afternoon there are children with Attention – Deficit – Hyperactivity -Disorder (ADHD). These kids are in the age of 8 till 12 years. The farm is a place where these children can clear their minds, and it provides for their family’s a ‘quiet’ weekend.
From May till June every Monday afternoon a class of the local school will come to the farm. They will learn about the life in the farm.
The volunteers will help them; this is a great way to have contact with the children in the village. In May the volunteers will speak Dutch so the can communicate well
If the volunteers has a good idea, and they are willing to organize there own initiative the organization would appreciate that.
The organization hope that they can develop as a person and the skills they learn in the farm.During the summer there is a bit more to do then the winter.
